This Saturday, we will start our monthly Sabotaz Showcase. The Sabotaz Showcase will feature the talents of artists, both domestic and international. The showcase is meant as a way to get together, chill out, listen to some music, and watch some amazing artists doing their thing.

It will be from 7pm to 10pm so you have plenty of time to come by, check out the show, and still enjoy the rest of your Saturday night.

Electric Windows
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sabotaz is proud to sponsor the following event. You should take a trip to check it out.

On the weekend of May 16th twenty artists of large-scale ephemeral work, will descend upon Beacon, NY and help transform an old, electric blanket factory into an art destination. The now boarded-up windows of One East Main Street will turn the concept of gallery inside-out--displaying eight foot by twelve foot work by artists with all different backgrounds, from Beacon’s own Rick Price to world-renowned Pop,Street and graffiti artists, such as Ron English, Michael Defeo and Lady Pink.

This painting and installation will be open to the public with most of the artists painting live right in front of the building. Coinciding with Dia Beacon’s fifth anniversary, this promises to be an exciting weekend.

Sabotaz, along with Blackbook Stencils and the Spinello Gallery is proud to present:

PRIMARY FLIGHT

ART BASEL
MIAMI BEACH
DEC. 6 – 9, 2007

WYNWOOD ARTS DISTRICT

CURATED BY : BLACKBOOKSIIII & SPINELLO GALLERY

Primary flight is a site-specific street level installation, taking place throughout the Wynwood arts district and Miami design district. This exhibitions soul purpose is to provide the artist with concrete wall space and allow them free reign to install their art as they see fit, avoiding any type of confinement. Graffiti has long left the street, having become embraced by some of the world’s greatest collections and museums. This year we invited these contemporary heavyweights to Miami to install their work back into graffiti’s original environment, allowing it to be viewed in what is arguably its most appealing format.

PRIMARY FLIGHT will include:

AIM
Bask
Blackbooks
Blek le Rat
Brandon Opalka
Cycle
David Choe

Kenton Parker
Kenny Scharf
Lady Pink

Welcome to the new Sabotaz USA website

It's August 1st, and we are on the edge of a new era. We have recently relocated from Los Angeles to New York. This move will enable us to receive shipments of paint from Europe much quicker and will lower our shipping expenses.

As I type this, the new shipment of paint is making its way towards the shores of the United States. In less than 10 days we will have 30,000 cans of paint!

We apologize for our recent online absence, but we assure you that when we go live again, it will be a much more efficent, speedy, and fully stocked store. In the meantime, we have up the new website up so you can take a look at what we have in store for you. We have increased our inventory to include spraypaint racks, clothing, and soon we will carry ink, markers, and caps.

If you would like to be notified when we are fully stocked, join our mailing list to the right ------->

Lister

One of our favorite artists here at Sabotaz is Anthony Lister. Originally from Brisbane Australia, he relocated to New York earlier this year. We at Sabotaz had the opportunity to catch up with Lister in Los Angeles while he was doing a mural in Hollywood. We gave him some Sabotaz to use and here was the result

To check out more of his work you can visti www.ListerArt.com.au

Manone Gets down!

Manone has been a huge supporter of Sabotaz since our first day of business. He recently sent us this picture.

Two beautiful things - Manone's artwork, and a full can of Sabotaz!
